An evening of live jazz with the Sam Crockatt Quartet featuring Sam Crockatt (tenor sax), Gwilym Simcock (piano), Oli Hayhurst (bass) and Ben Reynolds (drums).
Sam Crockatt has been playing jazz since the age of 11 and his highly lyrical style, reflecting his enthusiasm for Joe Henderson, has led to him being in great demand on the London scene. Since gradusting from the Royal Academy in 2004 he has performed all over the country with this quartet. Their debut album was released in 2007. Multi-award winner Gwilym Simcock's reputation is also steadily rising. Chick Corea has described him as "...an orginal. A creative genius".
