This all-female trombone quartet performs a programme of works written about or for some of Shakespeare's best-loved works.

Now in its ninth year this all-female trombone quartet is internationally recognised as a leading chamber ensemble. Bones Apart is committed to raising the profile of the trombone as a chamber music instrument by demonstrating its versatility. Through commissioning works and new arrangements it has expanded the boundaries of brass chamber music, widening its appeal to an ever increasing audience.

This programme explores music written for or about some of Shakespeare’s greatest masterpieces, including arrangements of classical works such as Berlioz’s "Beatrice and Benedict" as well as music by Gary Carpenter, Leonard Bernstein and Cole Porter.
