Otis Gibbs is a singer-songwriter based out of Indianapolis who writes songs from the same place as Jimmie Rodgers, Townes Van Zandt, and Butch Hancock. A visually striking fellow, Otis looks more like a misplaced trucker rather than a songwriter. At first glance, you almost wonder whether he’s the real deal, but after one listen, all your doubts are cast aside. Otis is the genuine article. A modern troubador who populates his music with people and events that strike a chord with all listeners.
Like Hank Snow and Johnny Cash, Otis has been everywhere, and he has a story he's willing to share about every mile he's covered over the years. Otis once fronted a popular, hard-working Midwestern band called "The Lost Highway" that took him all over America. He's covered most of the rest of the world on his own.
