Persephone Books offer mainly neglected fiction and non-fiction by women for women. Titles include novels, short stories, diaries and cookery books by authors such as Dorothy Whipple and Katherine Mansfield. Books are designed with a clear typeface and a beautiful endpaper featuring a fabric design. Founder Nicola Beauman will be talking about the origins of Persephone Books, how the books are chosen and about some of the authors.
