In collaboration with the London Sinfonietta, the lead musicians of the Ugandan Dance Academy present an evening of traditional Ugandan Music. This concert is part of the University of Sheffield Autumn Concert Season.

This autumn the Lead Musicians of Uganda Dance Academy are performing in the UK at the culmination of a two-year collaboration with the London Sinfonietta. Following a series of concerts in London these five inspirational musicians, Bernard Kayiggya, Samuel Bakkabulindi, Hakim Kiwanuka, Robert Lubanga, and Mathias Muwonge will be coming to Sheffield with a programme of traditional Ugandan music. Renowned for its seamless blend of music and song, each of the musicians performs on multiple instruments, from drums and vocals to flute, fiddle and amadinda.

Complimentary wine and juice will be offered during the interval.
