Transmission is an annual series of lectures where each week a host selects and introduces a guest artist to speak about their work. This week Michelle Atherton introduces Pil and Galia Kollectiv.
Pil and Galia Kollectiv's artwork is primarily film and performance based and explores the utopian discourses of the 20th century. They use choreographed movement and theatrical ritual, reading Dada and Bauhaus backwards through punk and new wave.
